Official Firmware from Honor SD Card Upgrade Guide Prepare: 1. Capacity of battery of Honor mobile phone is more than 30%. 2. SD card has more than 4G free storage volume, just make sure it is enough for the upgrade software and back up date. Back up: Make sure that SD card is in the mobile phone, go to “Tools”=>”Backup”=>”New Backup”=>select all the data you want to back up =>”Backup”=>Set password=>”Next”. The data is going to be backed up into SD card. Download upgrade software: Download the corresponding upgrade software from “support page/Downloads” into computer, then extract the file to get a “.APP” file. Make sure that SD card is in the mobile phone, then connect the mobile phone to the computer with USB cable and copy the “.APP” file into the folder “dload” of SD card, if there is no “dload” folder in the SD card, please create one first. Updating Go to “Settings”=>”Updater”=>”Local update”=>Select the “.APP” file you have downloaded. Then system will start updating. Restore Go to “Tools”=>”Backup”=>select the file you backed up before=>input the password=>”Restore”.
