SYSTEM NOTICE: Just a heads up, we are doing routine system maintenance on the site. Uploads will be disabled during this time. The maintenance may take up to 24 hours. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Here are the two known versions of the preloader and bootloader (lk = Little Kernel)
for the Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70F.
Despite being labelled "Kitkat" and "Lollipop", they are independent of the Android
version and appear to have no effect on it at all. That is, you can use the
"Lollipop" loaders with Android 4.4, and the "Kitkat" loaders with Android 5.
Kitkat/lk.bin product: HUAQIN8752_TB_B2D_KK
Lollipop/lk.bin product: HQ8752_TB_B2B_L
The only known difference is that the "Lollipop" bootloader (lk.bin) has slightly
better Fastboot support. It supports the new command "fastboot oem append-cmdline",
and it allows flashing all partitions, whereas the "Kitkat" bootloader only allows
flashing boot, system, cache, and userdata.
However, trying to flash system and userdata via Fastboot is futile anyway, as these
partitions are very large, yet Fastboot has a transfer size limit of 128 MB.
Kitkat/lk.patched.bin is a patched version of the "Kitkat" bootloader which should
support flashing the proinfo, nvram, recovery, and a few other partitions.
